What the print says

Five male mallards stand in a neat horizontal line across the center of the fabric, each displaying the classic iridescent green head, yellow bill, and brown chest typical of the species. Their orange webbed feet are planted firmly on a faint wash of color that suggests a puddle or ground without defining a specific location. Below this assembly, the handwritten-style text now what? captures a sentiment of collective confusion or pause. The combination of the rigid formation and the questioning caption turns a standard nature illustration into a commentary on uncertainty. This artwork belongs to the genre of funny kitchen textiles that rely on relatable awkwardness rather than loud graphics.
