The print at a glance

Two highly detailed gorilla heads dominate the white surface, rendered in a realistic sketch style that highlights individual fur strands. The top gorilla is inverted, appearing to hang from the ceiling or look out from above, while the bottom one stares forward with a calm expression. Between them, the word hi. is written in a thin, lowercase cursive font that contrasts with the heavy texture of the animals. This composition belongs to the genre of observational wildlife art that finds comedy in body language. The juxtaposition of a serious biological rendering with a casual social greeting creates a specific type of dry humor that relies entirely on the visual arrangement.

Who it is for

People who find joy in unexpected angles will notice the upside-down orientation immediately. A funny gorilla faces Kitchen Towel works well when someone enters the kitchen and has to pause to decipher the greeting.
