Behind the design

The artwork depicts a classic kitchen sink scene where utility meets comedy through exaggerated clutter. Stacked ceramic plates, metal forks, and coffee mugs create a towering heap that obscures most of the basin, leaving only a yellow sponge visible at the edge. The lettering frames this chaos with a top line reading blessed are those and a bottom line completing the thought with who do the dishes. This combination of hand-lettered typography and detailed line art captures the specific aesthetic of farmhouse decor while delivering a sharp, relatable punchline about who actually manages the post-dinner cleanup.
