What the design shows

A plump brown hen rests comfortably in the center of the composition, serving as the primary subject of this watercolor-style illustration. Surrounding the bird are several vibrant sunflowers in full bloom, accompanied by scattered green leaves and tiny floating hearts that add a touch of whimsy. Behind the hen’s head, a textured yellow sun radiates short, distinct rays, reinforcing the theme of brightness. Below the illustration, the phrase "You are my sunshine" is scripted in a flowing, dark brown font that curves gently upward. Small leafy flourishes extend from the ends of the text, framing the message perfectly. This arrangement belongs to the genre of farmhouse animal art, blending realistic avian details with romanticized garden elements to create a cohesive, pastoral scene.
