A closer look at the print

The artwork features a detailed watercolor rendering of a Shih Tzu standing on a faint blue shadow against a plain white background. Above the dog, the greeting "Merry Christmas" is written in a flowing, deep red calligraphy font. The dog itself has long, textured fur in shades of cream and brown, topped with a bright red Santa hat complete with a white pom-pom. A strand of vintage-style Christmas lights wraps loosely around the dog's torso and legs, displaying distinct red, green, blue, and yellow bulbs. This illustration belongs to the niche of breed-specific holiday art, combining the charm of a beloved companion animal with traditional winter festivities.
