rooster chrysanthemum blueberry farm Kitchen Towel Set of 2

Quick questions

Why does this towel feature a rooster instead of a hen?

The design specifically highlights a rooster, distinguished by its prominent tail feathers and upright comb. This choice emphasizes a bold, traditional farmyard symbol often associated with morning routines and rustic decor. While hens are common, the rooster offers a more dramatic silhouette that stands out clearly against the white background and surrounding floral elements.

How does the blueberry element appear in the artwork?

Blueberries appear as small, round clusters and individual berries scattered near the rooster's feet and floating in the air. They are rendered in the same deep indigo tones as the bird, integrating the fruit motif seamlessly into the overall monochromatic palette. These details reinforce the farm theme without overwhelming the central avian figure.

What makes this print different from standard chicken kitchen towels?

Unlike simple cartoon chickens, this design adopts a watercolor or ink-wash style reminiscent of Delftware or antique botanical prints. The inclusion of chrysanthemum-style flowers and falling petals creates a sophisticated, artistic composition rather than a purely humorous one. This elevates the towel from a novelty item to a piece of decorative kitchen textile suitable for refined farmhouse interiors.
