The artwork explained

A scruffy terrier-type dog sits at the center of the print, leaning against a thin black line that suggests a doorframe or wall edge. Its fur is rendered with chaotic, energetic strokes in shades of dark brown, tan, and white, creating a realistic yet cartoonish texture. The dog’s ears are floppy and messy, framing a face dominated by wide, glossy eyes and a prominent nose. Tiny ink dots float around the head, enhancing the watercolor or ink-wash style of the image. This artwork belongs to the genre of whimsical pet portraiture, focusing on the endearing quality of a dog trying to peek into a room where the treats are kept. The combination of the rough sketch lines and the soft shading on the fur creates a charming character study that feels both spontaneous and affectionate.
