Description

Made from Scratch Kitchen Towel Set of 2 features the phrase "MADE FROM SCRATCH" above claw marks and "IF IT FITS I SITS" beside a black cat in a box. The designs highlight the playful duality of feline behavior, from destructive scratching to cozy confinement. This set captures the essence of living with a cat for anyone who understands these specific quirks.

How the design is put together

One towel displays the words "MADE FROM SCRATCH" in tall, uneven block letters positioned directly over two black cat paws reaching upward with visible scratch lines. The second towel features a stylized black cat lounging inside a brown cardboard box, accompanied by the stacked text "IF IT FITS I SITS" in a similar hand-drawn font. The artwork relies on high-contrast black ink against a plain white background to emphasize the silhouette style. These elements combine to illustrate the classic dichotomy of domestic cat life, where destruction and relaxation happen in equal measure.

Who will enjoy it

Cat owners will immediately recognize the specific humor in these prints. A Made from Scratch Kitchen Towel Set of 2 serves as a perfect prop during messy cooking sessions or when your pet has just claimed a new spot. It is an ideal housewarming gift for friends who are obsessed with their feline companions and appreciate visual puns. The set brings a touch of personality to everyday chores by acknowledging the chaos pets bring to the home.

Quick questions

What does the phrase "Made from Scratch" imply in this context?: This phrase plays on the idiom about homemade food to describe a cat's tendency to ruin upholstery or furniture. Instead of being crafted carefully, the cat is depicted as a force of nature that leaves behind scratches and messes. It highlights the humorous reality that your pet creates disorder rather than contributing to household production.
Why is the cardboard box included in the second design?: The box represents the universal feline instinct to hide in confined spaces regardless of size. It contrasts with the first towel's theme of destruction by showing the cat in a passive, comfortable state. This specific imagery targets owners who have watched their pets squeeze into tiny containers instead of using expensive beds.
How does this set differ from standard cat-themed kitchen towels?: Unlike generic images of sleeping cats, this set focuses on behavioral stereotypes through text and action. The combination of scratch marks and box sitting tells a story about personality rather than just appearance. It appeals to those who want to acknowledge the funny, slightly chaotic nature of cat ownership in their home decor.
