Lie Low Turkey Kitchen Towel: Fall Humor for Your Counter

Lie Low Turkey Kitchen Towel shows a fleeing bird and the phrase "Time to lie low" to suggest hiding from the dinner table. The artwork depicts a brown turkey walking briskly across a bed of fallen leaves while carrying a small orange bundle tied to a wooden stick over its shoulder. A red scarf wraps around its neck and a large orange maple leaf floats above the text, creating a scene that suggests the bird is escaping before the holiday feast. Using this towel adds a touch of narrative humor to your daily chores, and home cooks who appreciate irony about the dinner table will feel it was made for them.

What the design tells

A detailed illustration of a turkey carrying a bundle on a stick sits beneath the printed warning. The bird wears a red patterned scarf and moves quickly past scattered autumn foliage on the ground. The lettering uses a simple black serif font that contrasts clearly against the white background. This image belongs to the tradition of anthropomorphic animals and harvest season storytelling. The combination of the fleeing subject and the cautionary text creates a cohesive visual joke about survival during the holidays.
