The print at a glance

A minimalist black line drawing of a dog’s head sits centered near the bottom edge of the fabric. Above the illustration, four lines of distressed, block-style typography declare that every meal and bite is being monitored. The lettering uses a rough, stamped texture that contrasts with the smooth curves of the dog's floppy ears and nose. The artwork belongs to the genre of pet-centric home decor that celebrates the specific obsession dogs have with human food. Together, the text and image create a cohesive narrative about the unspoken contract between a cook and their begging animal.
