The print at a glance

This design reproduces the full layout of the traditional Jeu de l'Oie board game on a rectangular textile surface. A large, realistic white goose stands prominently in the lower center, flanked by small colored game pieces in red, blue, green, and yellow. Surrounding the central figure is a grid of thirty-six illustrated squares, each depicting scenes from the game such as a pretzel, a stork, a heart, or players in traditional Alsatian costumes. The title "JEU DE L'OIE" is printed in elegant black serif typography above the goose, while specific game rules appear in French script within individual boxes, including "Attendre un autre joueur" and "Arrivée 36." The artwork uses a palette of soft pastels and primary colors against a cream background, mimicking the look of a vintage paper board. This composition transforms a familiar tabletop experience into a decorative element that celebrates the history of leisure and play.
