The design in detail

A column of four distinct duck decoys dominates the center of the white fabric, arranged from largest at the top to smallest at the bottom. The topmost figure is a male mallard with a signature iridescent green head and chestnut breast, sitting atop a simple wooden hull. Below it, a grey and brown duck with a pointed tail suggests a pintail or wigeon, followed by a mottled brown female form that mimics natural camouflage. The final decoy at the bottom features a reddish-brown head with intricate speckling on its body, showcasing detailed brushwork that replicates painted wood grain. This collection celebrates the hobby of decoy carving and the visual appeal of vintage sporting equipment.
