Dog Prayer Kitchen Towel featuring a poem

Dog Prayer Kitchen Towel shows a black dog sneaking into a bed under a plaid blanket alongside human feet. The printed poem explains how pets hope to steal a pillow while pretending to pray. This design captures the mischievous spirit of dogs who rule the household, and it was made for owners who know their pup is plotting to take over the master bedroom.

What the design shows

A small black dog rests its chin on the edge of a wooden bed frame, partially covered by a pink plaid duvet. Beside the dog, a pair of human feet sticks out from under the sheets, indicating that the bed is currently occupied. The illustration is framed by a handwritten poem that begins with the dog deciding to creep into the human's bed now that it is time to sleep. The text continues with a hopeful wish to land just right and steal a pillow for the night. Below the image, additional verses explain that while other dogs are forbidden upstairs, this pet offers its own version of devotion through these nightly raids. The artist's signature appears at the bottom right, grounding the whimsical scene in a personal artistic style. Together, the visual and textual elements create a complete narrative about domestic pet life and bedroom boundaries.

Who it was made for

This towel was created for the specific subset of dog owners who share their mattress with their pets. The Dog Prayer Kitchen Towel resonates with anyone who has woken up to find their dog occupying the center of the bed. It turns the common frustration of fur on sheets into a source of amusement and shared understanding. Whether used as a daily kitchen accessory or given to a friend who treats their dog like a human child, it acknowledges the unique hierarchy of a home where the dog is truly the boss.
