California Christmas Kitchen Towel: A Local Holiday Parody

California Christmas Kitchen Towel shows twelve iconic local symbols replacing traditional gifts. The list humorously swaps carols for freeways, burritos, and redwoods. This design speaks directly to anyone who knows the state's unique holiday vibe.

What the print says

The artwork displays a vertical list titled A California Christmas at the top center. Below the header, twelve numbered lines pair text with corresponding illustrations. The first item features a quail in a pear tree, followed by two burritos wrapped in paper. Three castles represent days in a major theme park, while four stylized road signs stand for full freeways. Five orange flowers depict golden poppies, and six figures in lotus positions show yoga teachers teaching. Seven clusters of grapes represent wine grapes growing, and eight baskets symbolize Yosemite sunsets setting. Nine hamburgers illustrate In-N-Out burgers a-waiting, followed by ten wavy lines for fog banks rolling. Eleven figures in meditation pose represent people vegging, and twelve tall trees show redwoods reaching. The black lettering is centered above each colorful drawing, creating a structured yet playful visual hierarchy that mimics a traditional chart.
