border collie wine and coffee Kitchen Towel Set of 2

border collie wine and coffee Kitchen Towel shows two distinct portraits of a black and white herding dog, each capturing a different mood through accessories and props. One towel features the dog wearing dark sunglasses and holding a glass of red wine, while the other depicts the same breed in eyeglasses clutching a white coffee mug. The printed line implies a humorous duality where the dog is either fully relaxed for the evening or intensely focused on starting the day. Using these towels adds a narrative element to your kitchen decor that goes beyond simple animal imagery, and the set was made for owners who see their pets as partners in both relaxation and caffeine dependency.

Note: the towel rack and hook shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

The design in detail

The artwork presents a split personality study using a single breed to represent two common human states. On the left, the border collie wears dark tinted shades and grips a stemware glass filled with red liquid, evoking a sense of cool detachment or end-of-day unwinding. On the right, the dog sports clear prescription-style glasses and holds a simple ceramic mug with both paws, suggesting a studious or busy morning demeanor. The illustration style is realistic yet anthropomorphic, placing human accessories directly onto the animal to create a visual pun about their behavior. This combination of specific grooming details and beverage choices turns a standard kitchen accessory into a commentary on the balance between work and play.

When it gets used

People who notice the specific styling of the accessories often find themselves laughing at the accuracy of the portrayal. A border collie wine and coffee Kitchen Towel becomes a focal point during morning rituals when the coffee mug version is prominently displayed near the appliance. It also serves as a decorative anchor in spaces where wine is served, bridging the gap between dining areas and utility spaces. Gifting this set to a friend who treats their dog like a child or a roommate who has strong opinions about their daily brews ensures the humor lands perfectly. It transforms a functional item into a shared joke about the specific energy levels of herding breeds.
